Get Involved

Crisis services volunteers respond to hotline call, chats, emails and forum posts from youth and families at their most vulnerable moments. It is with the support of our dedicated, trained volunteers that we are able to provide crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The NRS Youth Advisory Board offers the opportunity for young people across the nation to engage with one another and the NRS staff  on projects that have a meaningful impact on NRS crisis services and prevention activities.

This group of young professionals raise awareness and funds to benefit NRS. Our Associate Board is an ideal way to get involved in the community, socialize and network while contributing to an important cause.

Youth HOPE Month is a public awareness campaign designed to ‘Shine a Light’ on the challenges faced by runaway and homeless youth. Every November, organizations across the nation band together to share information, spotlight resources, and show young people in crisis that they are not alone. Everyone’s voice is important in making Youth HOPE Month a success! Keep an eye out for ways to engage with us as we approach Youth HOPE Month in November.
