The National Runaway Safeline (NRS) is proud to celebrate our 50th anniversary of supporting America’s runaway, homeless and at-risk youth. While the scope of our crisis services, referral resources, prevention materials, educational tools and unique programs has grown extensively since our inception in 1971, the vision of our dedicated staff and volunteers remains the same: offering safety to every young person in America, and, ultimately, ending youth homelessness.
We could not fulfill our mission without the generous support of donors and volunteers. While we are extremely proud of all we have accomplished in the past half century, there remains much to do. Please join us in providing services to more than 125,000 young people across the country each year, and together let’s end youth homelessness. Click below to honor our 50th anniversary and help us raise $25,000. With your support, we hope our services are no longer needed in another 50 years!
